Timeline of the Discovery of a Hashish Drug Factory in Bali

BARESKRIM Polri, in collaboration with the Soekarno-Hatta Customs Office, dismantled a clandestine hashish drug laboratory located in a villa and café in Uluwatu, Bali. This operation followed the seizure of 25 kilograms of hashish in Yogyakarta in September 2024, as revealed by Kabareskrim Polri Komjen Wahyu Widada during a press conference in Bali on Tuesday, November 19.

The investigation led to the discovery that the hashish was produced in Bali, with the production site frequently changing locations. Initially detected on Jalan Gatot Subroto in North Denpasar, the lab moved to Padang Sambian in West Denpasar before finally being located in Uluwatu.

The uncovering of the Uluwatu lab was based on data from shipments of Happy Five (H5) printing machines, Evapub Hashish, pods systems, and various chemical precursors, imported through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Wahyu indicated that these machines were likely used for large-scale production.

Four Indonesian nationals, identified as MR, RR, N, and DA, were arrested and charged with manufacturing and packaging the drugs. Authorities seized significant quantities of hashish, Happy Five pills, and production equipment, including:

  • 18 silver packages of solid hashish
  • 12.9 kg of gold-packaged solid hashish
  • 18,210 Happy Five pills (0.4 grams each)
  • 35,000 Happy Five pills (0.2 grams each)
  • 765 filled cartridges (547 black, 218 white)
  • 6,600 empty cartridges
  • 102 kg of hashish powder
  • 37 kg of Happy Five raw materials
  • 12 liters of cannabis oil
  • 7 kg of cannabis powder
  • 10 kg of dried cannabis stems

Additionally, various production tools were confiscated, including liquid vape machines, liquid filling devices, tablet presses, and more.
