President brought an investment commitment of Rp 294.08 trillion from his visit to 5 countries, namely China, the United States, Peru, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.
According to Prabowo, this achievement exceeds the desired target, which demonstrates global confidence in the Indonesian economy.
“Kind of exceeded. right? exceeded.” so I returned with a total commitment of U$ 18.5 billion. “So I think this is quite good, showing global confidence in the Indonesian economy, right,” said Prabowo, Thursday (21/22/2024).
The details of the investment are US$ 10 billion from China during his visit, US$ 7 billion from British Petroleum, and US$ 1.5 billion from several companies during the CEO Roundtable Forum in the UK.
However, he believes this serves as a reminder that Indonesia must be cautious and create a clean government to honor the goodwill of these investments.

Prabowo also recounted that during the CEO Roundtable Forum at Lancaster House, England, he met with 19 leaders of British companies to discuss opportunities. From that meeting, Prabowo said it was productive and showed confidence in the Indonesian economy.
“So it was quite a productive meeting today, they are very eager to enter Indonesia, some of them have been in Indonesia for more than 100 years.” Their achievements are also quite good. I think this shows their optimism towards our economy. “Well, this confidence is also the same in Brazil, the same in America, the same in China, thank God, it’s very productive,” said Prabowo.
It is known that accompanying President Prabowo in the meeting were Foreign Minister Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry Rosan Roeslani, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Deputy Finance Minister Thomas Djiwandono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Deputy Chairman of Commission 1 of the Indonesian House of Representatives Budi Djiwandono.
