A total of 18 Chairpersons of Provincial Kadin have filed a lawsuit with the South Jakarta District Court regarding the implementation of the Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) 2024.
The holding of the 2024 Munaslub is an unlawful act because it violates Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 18/2022 concerning the Articles of Association and Bylaws of Kadin Indonesia.
The Plaintiffs are the Chairpersons of the Kadin Provinces (i) West Java; (ii) West Kalimantan; (iii) East Nusa Tenggara; (iv) Gorontalo; (v) Bengkulu; (vi) Southwest Papua; (vii) East Java; (viii) West Papua; (ix) North Maluku; (x) Maluku; (xi) Central Sulawesi; (xii) Southeast Sulawesi; (xiii) Riau; (xiv) East Kalimantan; (xv) Papua; (xvi) Jambi; (xvii) South Kalimantan; and (xviii) DKI Jakarta.
The defendants are Akbar Himawan Bukhari as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee

Munaslub 2024 (Defendant I); H Muhammad Iqbal as the Chairman of the Steering Committee for Munaslub 2024 (Defendant II); Bayu Priawan Djokosoetono as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Munaslub 2024 (Defendant III); and H.A.M. Nurdin Halid, as the Chairman of the Munaslub 2024 Session (Tergugat IV).Meanwhile, Anindya Novyan Bakrie is also a co-defendant.
The plaintiffs’ attorney, Denny Kailimang, stated that based on Article 18 paragraphs (1) and (2) of Presidential Decree No. 18/2022 concerning the Articles of Association and Bylaws of Kadin Indonesia, there are several requirements that must be met to hold an extraordinary congress.
“First, there must be a written warning (either the first or second) preceded by a meeting of the Kadin Provincial Management Board to issue the written warning,” said Denny, quoted on Tuesday (26/11/2024).
