Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan will exercise his voting rights at the polling station (TPS) near his residence on Jalan Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.
“Tomorrow, Mr. Anies Baswedan will cast his vote at TPS 29 Lebak Bulus, located near the lake as during the previous presidential election,” said Anies Baswedan’s Spokesperson, Angga Putra Fidrian, in a written statement on Tuesday (26/11/2024).
However, Angga could not yet provide details on Anies’ departure schedule to the polling station (TPS). He said Anies would likely head to the TPS in the morning.
“The exact time will be confirmed later, but it should be in the morning (to the TPS),” said Angga.
Support Pramono-Rano
It is known that Anies officially endorsed the Jakarta gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial candidates number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno. He stated that his choice to support Pramono Anung as the Governor of Jakarta was not made lightly.
Anies mentioned that he supports Pramono because he knows the man from Kediri. Anies said that he has also worked with Pramono for 30 years.
“We understand that Jakarta needs a governor who is firm but stable, calm.” And that is the combination that is needed. A governor whose words unite. Can communicate with everyone, all circles, so he can protect everyone. “That’s what I see in Mas Pram,” Anies said after a walkabout with Pramono in Kapuk, Jakarta, Friday (22/11/2024).
Anies is also grateful because in his first 100 days program, Pramono Anung will address the fundamental issues faced by the people of Jakarta. In this way, the lower-class people of Jakarta will once again feel that they are the focus and top priority.
“I am glad that Mas Pram has identified urgent matters, important things that need to be prioritized, and that is what makes me grateful,” said Anies.
