The Chairman of the Golkar Party and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, expressed his optimism after casting his vote in the 2024 regional elections.
Wearing a white shirt and black trousers, he attended the polling station (TPS) near his residence, accompanied by the number 01 candidate for Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, and the Secretary-General of the Golkar Party, M. Sarmuji.
“We cast our votes at the polling station next to my house and ask for your prayers so that this regional election runs smoothly and, God willing, Mr. RK can achieve the best results, which is to become the winner in today’s regional election on November 27,” said Bahlil in Jakarta, Wednesday (27/11/2024).
Ridwan Kamil himself is paired with Suswono in the contest for the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta this time. Both are supported by 15 political parties: Gerindra, PAN, Golkar, Nasdem, PKS, Perindo, and PPP.
Bahlil then expressed his feelings with full confidence. When asked about his level of confidence, he said that the Golkar Party, along with the Coalition Party, must always be optimistic.
“We, the Golkar Party, are together with the Indonesian Forward Coalition Party, so of course we have to be optimistic, and as the General Chairman, today I feel like it’s a presidential election, my heart feels like this during the presidential election, God willing, the results will be the same as the presidential election,” he said.
