Jakarta – A man was found dead in Kampung Kongsi RT 02/04, Cikarang Village, Cikarang Utara District, Bekasi Regency on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in the morning. The victim, W (54), is suspected to have died due to an electric shock.
The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Ary Ary Syam Indradi, admitted that he has not yet provided a detailed explanation of the incident’s chronology.
However, there is one person with the initials DDS who has been questioned as a witness. That person saw the victim already lying on the ground.
“The victim is suspected to have been electrocuted,” he said in a written statement, Thursday (28/11/2024).
Ade Ary said that the PLN team was then brought in to cut off the electricity supply around the scene. Meanwhile, the victim’s body was evacuated to the Bekasi District General Hospital. This case is being handled by the Cikarang Utara Police Station.
“The victim was taken to the regional hospital for a forensic examination. The case is currently at the investigation stage by the Cikarang Utara Police,” he said.
