Jakarta – Deputy Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid highlighted the behavior of the President’s Special Envoy Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or Gus Miftah, who mocked Sunhaji, a tea seller at a grand tabligh event.
“Yes, maybe it was just out of control, because Gus Miftah is known as a kiai who is reckless, a kiai who goes to places where what is conveyed is indeed inappropriate.” “Of course, the Indonesian public can judge for themselves,” said Jazilul at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/12/2024).
Jazilul reminded that any profession must have a noble heart and should be respected. And he asked Gus Miftah to apologize without bringing a lawyer or anything like that.
“Why involve a legal representative? What kind of case is this?” “This is just a matter of humanity that sometimes goes beyond our control, or the control of figures when seeing people who are below, people who are less fortunate, just an ice seller, but he is still an Indonesian citizen, he is still our brother who must be respected,” he said.
According to the Chairman of the Gerindra Faction in the DPR, Miftah has gone too far and made an inappropriate joke.

Jazilul believes that Miftah’s habit of mocking the common people contradicts what has always been Prabowo’s character.
