Jakarta, – President Prabowo Subianto admitted that he was threatened when he proposed the idea of Free Nutritious Meals. (MBG). He revealed this at the Tanwir Assembly and the 112th Muhammadiyah Milad Reception in Kupang, Wednesday (4/12/2024).
Prabowo recounted that he was often mocked and laughed at when he expressed the idea of eliminating corruption in Indonesia, poverty, and hunger.
“How is it possible to eliminate hunger? What?” who wants to provide nutritious food? hahah laughing. At first, they laughed at me, and I knew they were threatening me,” he said.
“I know I was threatened that the stock price would drop later.” In the first few days, I introduced the idea of nutritious food, and I understand that I have been Indonesian for quite a long time. “I understand there are open threats and subtle threats,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo said there are open threats such as brandishing weapons, rifles, and even cannons. But there are also other weapons like psychological tactics, incitement, slander, hoaxes, and economic threats.
“Brothers and sisters, ‘Sir, because of the idea of nutritious food, the stock index fell’ I said I answered them, ‘Just so you know, I don’t own any stocks,’ I said, ‘and the people in the villages don’t own any stocks,'” Prabowo said.
“If the stock market falls, yes, the players in the stock exchange, who are the ones playing the stock market here, ministers, come on, admit it?” Fahri Hamzah, it seems. “Not just rich people,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo then recounted a story about a friend of his who was stressed out from trading stocks using algorithms.
“Every second watching TV, watching the stock price drop by 0.0 something, oh panic, calculate again, oh my life is stressful, I don’t want that.” And let me tell you, playing with that if you’re a small player, you’ll definitely lose. For small players, it’s usually like gambling; the one who wins is the big, strong player, right? This Mr. Trenggono is for the back-and-forth, hahaha. “Maybe Mr. Trenggono has an algorithm,” he said.
“There are mathematicians so smart that they dare to go to the casino, just to play roulette using that algorithm.” “But seriously, ladies and gentlemen,” Prabowo continued.
Prabowo also revealed that there is a threat to the Indonesian currency.
