RK-Suswono Witnesses in South Jakarta Unitedly Refuse to Sign the Subdistrict Level Recapitulation

Jakarta – The witnesses for the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidate pair number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) in South Jakarta decided not to sign the recapitulation of the sub-district level vote count.

“Was there any unresolved incident during the plenary meeting at the sub-district level?” asked the Chairman of the South Jakarta KPU, Taqiyuddin, during the city-level vote tally recap in Jakarta, Thursday (5/12/2024).

Taqiyuddin received the report results from 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta, and all of them refused to sign the sub-district level vote tally recap.

The 10 sub-districts are the entire sub-districts in South Jakarta, which include Mampang, Pancoran, Kebayoran Baru, Kebayoran Lama, Cilandak, Tebet, Pasar Minggu, Setiabudi, Pesanggrahan, and Jagakarsa.

He acknowledged that there were objections from witnesses of the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidate pair number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO).

Taqiyuddin read the report from the Kebayoran Baru District which stated the refusal to sign due to objections related to the number of participants and the number of valid ballots.

“Considering and deciding based on participation and other factors, the comparison of the number of valid and invalid ballots, and other reasons, we do not sign the D result from the Kebayoran Baru sub-district,” he explained.

Just like Kebayoran Baru District and others, it was also read from Pesanggrahan that they refused to sign for certain reasons.

“At the Pesanggrahan sub-district level, only the objection from the witnesses who did not sign the D results and the vote counting minutes for certain reasons related to candidate pair number 1,” he explained.

Then, there is also the team of the candidate pair (paslon) number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), who questioned the uneven distribution of C6 forms in the regional election.

According to the RIDO camp, the absence of invitations or C6 forms caused many citizens to fail to exercise their voting rights, resulting in a significant decrease in voter turnout.
