Jakarta, — The candidate pair Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan won the West Java gubernatorial election 2024 based on the recapitulation results from the West Java KPUD. They secured 62 percent of the valid votes.
Quoted from the D. Form of the PROV-KWK Governor KPU Jabar results, the vote count for Dedi-Erwan reached 14,130,192 votes. This figure is equivalent to 62.2 percent of the total valid votes.
The second position is occupied by Ahmad Syaikhu and Ilham Akbar Habibie. They received 4,260,072 votes, equivalent to 18.76 percent of the valid votes.
Next are Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwinatarina with 2,204,452 votes. In the last position are the pair Jeje Wiradinata-Ronal Surapradja with 2,116,017 votes.
The number of voters who exercised their right to vote in the West Java 2024 gubernatorial election was 23,703,785 people. The total number of voters on the permanent voter list (DPT) for the West Java 2024 gubernatorial election reached 35,925,960 people. Thus, the voter turnout rate in the West Java 2024 gubernatorial election was 65.98 percent.
Dedi Mulyadi and Erwan Setiawan are running with the support of 14 parties in the Coalition for an Advanced Indonesia (KIM). Five of these are parties that hold seats in the West Java Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD Jabar), namely Gerindra, Demokrat, Golkar, PAN, and the Indonesian Solidarity Party. (PSI).
The other nine parties are the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the People’s Wave Party (Gelora), the Garuda Party, the Just and Prosperous People’s Party (Prima), the Ummat Party, the Perindo Party, the National Mandate Party (PKN), the Hanura Party, and the Labor Party.
