Bandung – Millions of cigarettes and alcoholic beverages (minol) or illegal liquor were destroyed in the yard of the Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) office (12/5/2024).
The products that were destroyed were the result of seizures by the Customs and Excise and the Bandung City Satpol PP in the context of utilizing the Tobacco Excise Revenue Sharing Fund. (DBH CHT).
The Acting Mayor of Bandung, A. Koswara, stated that the illegal products were the result of enforcement actions during the period from June to November 2024, with a total value of goods reaching Rp 4.47 billion and a potential loss to the state amounting to Rp 2.4 billion.
“This effort not only contributes to state revenue but also creates social order and has a positive impact on public health,” he said in a press statement.

Destruction was carried out using methods of incineration, dissolution, and destruction to ensure that the items could not be reused.
Next, Koswara said, the remaining items will be sent to PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk-Bogor for the final disposal process.
