Jakarta – The pair of Central Java Governor Candidates Number 1 Andika Perkasa and Hendrar Prihadi (Hendi) and the pair of East Java Governor Candidates Number 3 Tri Rismaharini and Zahrul Azhar Asumta have submitted a dispute over the 2024 regional election results to the Constitutional Court. (MK).
The Governor’s Election Result Dispute Petition (PHP) from both was accepted by the Constitutional Court online through simpel.mkri.id on the night of Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
“The application from Andika Perkasa-Hendrar was recorded as submitted at 22:13 WIB, while the application from Risma and Gus Hans was recorded as submitted at 22:34 WIB,” wrote the Constitutional Court on its official website, as quoted on Thursday (12/12/2024).
Confirming this, the Chairman of the DPP PDIP for National Legal System Reform, Roni Talapessy, explained the PHP application for the Governors of East Java and Central Java, which had previously been submitted online.
He revealed that the evidence presented in East Java was the discrepancy in unused ballots between the counting at the district/city level.
“The total unused ballots in the province differ from the number of unused ballots in the regencies/cities,” said Roni.
Allegations of Law Enforcement Involvement

Then, for the Central Java regional elections, Roni is convinced of the involvement of law enforcement officers who are intervening. He admitted to having a lot of evidence regarding that matter.
“From the beginning, there have been police summons, prosecutor summons, and also the mobilization of village heads and others; we will prove this in the Constitutional Court session,” said Roni.
Roni noted that, in general, the Simultaneous Regional Elections 2024 did not go well this time. Therefore, the Constitutional Court becomes the last bastion of democracy in accordance with the ideals of reform.
“We will present witnesses who can support the claims in the petition,” he asserted.
