Jakarta – The Advisory Board of the Work Volunteer (RK) Ecosystem, M. Arief Rosyid Hasan, congratulated the Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor candidates, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno. This official statement was made following the decision of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) campaign team not to file an election dispute lawsuit with the Constitutional Court (MK).
“The competition in the Jakarta gubernatorial election is very tight.” We respect the KPU process and graciously accept the election results. Many lessons and insights, but equally important are sportsmanship and sincerity,” said Arief in a written statement on Friday, (13/12/2024).
Arief, who also served as the General Chair of PB HMI during the 2013-2015 period, added, “I sincerely thank the hard work and contributions of friends in the RK Ecosystem, and all parties who worked together for the victory of RIDO.” I am sure, Mr. Ridwan Kamil, Mr. Suswono, also tip their hats, and have shown exemplary conduct and sincerity throughout this entire process,” he said.
“The maturity of the KIM Plus leadership, President Prabowo as the Chairman of Gerindra, and others, despite having power, do not exercise it to impose their will.” This is Indonesian-style democracy, prioritizing unity after contestation. As young people, we need to emulate their attitude, we accept and support a one-round regional election,” he concluded.
