Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summon former Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly again for questioning today, Wednesday (12/18/2024). It is known that Yasonna is being summoned in his capacity as a witness to uncover the case of fugitive Harun Masiku. When confirmed separately, Yasonna admitted that he would attend.
“Yes (will attend),” said Yasonna to the media, Tuesday (12/17/2024).
It is known that today is the second summons for Yasonna by the KPK. Previously, on Friday (13/12), the KPK also issued a summons, but the individual was absent.
For your information, Yasonna’s summons is not a new investigation. According to KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto, the summons of the individual is part of the development of the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving Harun Masiku.
“Mr. YL is not a development, still in the context of investigating the alleged corruption case of giving gifts or promises to civil servants or state organizers Mr. Wahyu Setiawan, as a member of the KPU for the 2017 and 2022 periods,” said Tessa.

The spokesperson with an investigative background could not comment on the specifics of the material that will be examined in the investigation, but broadly speaking, the focus of the investigators will be Yasonna’s knowledge of the case currently being handled by the anti-corruption commission.
“Of course, everything will be related to the knowledge possessed by Mr. YL.” “So we’ll just wait and see,” Tessa concluded.
