Kris Dayanti Proud of Azriel’s Interest in Politics, Sends a Message to the Younger Generation

Jakarta Kris Dayanti feels happy that her son Azriel is showing interest in the world of politics. This is evident from Azriel’s decision to major in political science at Airlangga University (UNAIR).

Kris Dayanti sees that Azriel is quite up-to-date with the political developments in Indonesia. According to her, this is a plus point considering that many young people are apathetic towards politics, as evidenced by their minimal participation in the recent regional elections.

“I’m happy that one of my children is interested in politics, not just Azriel who has chosen a political major at Unair; he is quite observant of politics in Indonesia,” said Kris Dayanti in the Blok M area, South Jakarta, recently.

“We know that today’s youth don’t have limitations, but they are somewhat apathetic towards politics.” How was the youth’s participation in the regional elections yesterday?” Kris Dayanti added.

Political Education Input

Kris Dayanti said the importance of good political education for young people. Especially since they will be the ones who will bear the responsibility for the country in the future.

“This means that our youth do not receive good political education and they are apathetic, because the youth who have good responsibilities are expected to be the successors,” he explained.

Parents’ Names

Kris Dayanti continued, regardless of whether he eventually enters practical politics or not, Azriel has knowledge about it. Moreover, Azriel also wants to prove himself and break free from the shadow of his parents’ big names.

“When he entered politics, from the party, he already had knowledge of Indonesian politics.” He also wants to break free from the shadow of his parents, to present himself as his true self,” he said.

Interest

Not only Azriel, Kris Dayanti mentioned that Yuni Shara’s child also shows interest in the same thing. He believes his nephew is quite up-to-date with the developments in the country’s politics.

“My child, like Yuni’s child, Cello, is quite aware of politics in Indonesia,” said Kris Dayanti.
