Embezzled Rp20 billion, Gus Fahim admits that the free nutritious meal program has not yet been discussed with the Blora DPRD

Blora -The free nutritious meal program initiated by President Prabowo was officially launched today, Monday (6/1/2025). All regions in Indonesia simultaneously implemented Prabowo’s flagship government program, including in Blora Regency, Central Java.

In its implementation, it turns out that not everything is purely funded by the central government budget. Upon investigation, it turns out that it is also funded by the regional government budget.

Blora DPRD member, H Ahmad Fahim Mulabby, has heard the news. However, he admitted that he has never been invited to coordinate with the local government.

“What the scheme is like, and how the implementation will be, we don’t know yet,” said Gus Fahim to Liputan6.com, Monday (6/1/2025).

It was previously known that the Blora Regency Government, through the Blora Bappeda which has now transformed into the Blora Bapperida, admitted that it is currently preparing a budget of IDR 20 billion from the Blora 2025 APBD. The budget is included in the unexpected expenses.

Meanwhile, the Blora Education Office has currently conducted a calculation simulation. Which means, the newly allocated budget of Rp20 billion is for a total of 120,414 students.

The calculation is based on a reference of Rp 10,000 per person or around Rp 1.2 billion per day. This means that the budget prepared can only last for 18 days.

Discussed Together

Gus Fahim urged that this issue be discussed promptly between the executive and legislative branches so that both sides clearly understand it. He supports the realization of the program. However, on the other hand, it must be in line with the regional budget capacity.

“Don’t let it interfere with other programs or sacrifice other programs, that’s my personal opinion,” he stated.

So far, Gus Fahim has only heard that the MBG program in Blora Regency will involve the pesantren.

“I heard that the pesantren will be involved, but until now there has been no coordination at all regarding the technical aspects and others,” he said, noting that pesantren are also educational institutions and that the people within them are also citizens.

Furthermore, Gus Fahim also admitted that he is not yet aware of the preparations for the healthy warehouse and kitchen in Blora Regency.

“I don’t know yet either.” For the agenda of checking the healthy kitchen, maybe we should have a meeting with the council first or wait for instructions from the chairperson of Commission D,” he concluded.

As additional information, currently those who are actively involved in the field regarding the preparation of the MBG program are from the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) and involve several parties.

Starting from warehouse preparations, finding land or a place for a healthy kitchen, and so on. Including the preparation of finding the personnel who will be involved in it.
