The President Director (Dirut) of PT Hutama Karya, Budi Harto (BH), absented himself from the summons of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators on Monday, January 6, 2025. He was supposed to be questioned regarding allegations of corruption related to land procurement around the Trans Sumatra Toll Road.
“Witness BH requested a rescheduling,” said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in a written statement on Tuesday (7/1).
Budi absconded with the former admin and finance staff of PT Sanitarindo Tangsel Jaya, Aliani Febriyanto Ramadhon (AFR). His former office is a corporate suspect in this case.
Tessa was reluctant to detail the reasons for the absence of the two people. The investigator will call both of them again later.
In the development of this case, the KPK seized 54 plots of land believed to be related to the matter. The value of the assets is estimated at Rp150 billion.
The KPK announced a new investigation. The corruption case being investigated is related to the land procurement project for the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road carried out by PT Hutama Karya Persero.
The KPK stated that investigators have detected state losses from the land procurement. The amount is estimated to reach billions of rupiah.
