Jakarta -President Prabowo Subianto received a visit from Japanese Minister of Defense Nakatani Gen at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday (7/1/2024). The meeting between Prabowo and the Japanese Minister of Defense was closed to the media.
Based on Liputan6.com’s observation, the Japanese PM left the Jakarta Presidential Palace around 14:48 WIB. Based on the gathered information, the meeting took place from 1:30 PM WIB.
When asked by the media about the issues discussed with Prabowo, the Japanese Minister of Defense did not answer. He only said that the meeting went smoothly.
“Good, good,” said the Japanese Minister of Defense to the media at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, Tuesday (7/1/2024).
Defense Minister Receives Visit from Japanese Defense Minister
Previously, Indonesian Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin received Japanese Minister of Defense Nakatani Gen at the Ministry of Defense Office on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/1/2024).
From the observation at the location, it was seen that Sjafrie personally welcomed Nakatani Gen with a military-style welcome ceremony around 09:59 AM WIB.
During the welcoming ceremony, Sjafrie and Nakatani paid respect to each flag and conducted a troop inspection in the courtyard of the Ministry of Defense Office.
