Jakarta -The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched two residences of the PDIP Secretary-General, Hasto Kristiyanto, on Tuesday, (7/1/2025). The search was conducted in the Kebagusan area, South Jakarta, and Bekasi, West Java.
“Indeed, last night in addition to the house in Bekasi, the investigators also conducted a search at a house in the Kebagusan area,” said KPK spokesperson, Tessa Mahardika Sugiarto in her statement, Wednesday, (1/8/2025).
Tessa explained that the search in South Jakarta was completed around 12:00 AM WIB. From the search results, investigators found several pieces of evidence related to Hasto, who has been named a suspect in this case.
“From the search activities, the investigators seized documentary evidence in the form of notes and electronic evidence,” he said.

Hasto has been named a suspect in two cases related to the Harun Masiku case. First, he was named a suspect in the alleged bribery of Harun Masiku’s PAW, which was announced on December 24, 2024.
“The investigators found evidence of the involvement of Mr. HK, who is the Secretary-General of PDI Perjuangan, and Mr. DTI, who is Mr. HK’s trusted confidant,” said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto when announcing Hasto’s legal status as a suspect.
According to Setyo, Hasto was involved in efforts to give gifts or promises to Wahyu Setiawan, a member of the General Election Commission (KPU), together with Agustiani Tio F, related to the determination of the elected members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) for the 2019-2024 period.
The KPK has only just found enough evidence to name Hasto as a suspect, even though the Harun Masiku case has been ongoing for five years.
“Why only now (was he named a suspect), this is because of the sufficiency of the evidence.” The investigators were more confident after the stage of searching for the fugitive Harun Masiku, where there were activities of summons, examinations, and seizures of electronic evidence, and it was there that we obtained a lot of evidence and leads,” he explained.
