Jakarta The body of Baim Wong’s father, Johnny Wong, was buried at TPU Sirna Sari, Purwakarta, West Java, on Tuesday (7/1/2025). The actor made a statement as Johnny Wong’s body was being taken to the grave.
In his statement, Baim Wong explained that Johnny Wong passed away at dawn. Previously, when he was rushed back to the hospital, Johnny Wong didn’t inform his children so as not to trouble many people.
“Dad passed away right at dawn.” When dad returned to the hospital, we intentionally didn’t inform anyone because dad didn’t want to trouble everyone. “It’s really hard for me, especially with Hamzah here,” said Baim Wong.
There is one moment he remembers, namely when he bathed Johnny Wong’s corpse. At that moment, he saw the corpse smiling. This moment relieved Baim Wong, who only wanted his father to be at peace in the afterlife.
