Jakarta- Chairman of the DPP PDIP Ronny Talapessy revealed that there were attempts at intimidation or coercion against witnesses summoned by the KPK to mention the name of PDIP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto in the Harun Masiku case.
“We received information that there were witnesses who were indeed coaxed and then forced to provide their statements, allegedly to implicate PDIP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto,” said Ronny during a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Jakarta, Thursday (1/9/2025).

However, he said, those witnesses had previously been tested in court. Ronny also emphasized that his side would take legal action.
“Even though these witnesses have already been tested in court.” We will convey this later. “Of course, we will take legal action,” he said.
When asked what kind of intimidation the witnesses received, Ronny did not answer in detail.
“We will convey that later, friends.” Of course, we are currently inventorying the statements. However, the information conveyed indicates that there are witnesses who are allegedly being intimidated to provide statements linking Mr. Hasto Kristiyanto to this case,” he added.
