JakartaThe Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) revealed that the material losses from the Glodok Plaza fire in Mangga Besar, West Jakarta, reached IDR 90 billion.
“From the affected areas of Glodok Plaza Mall on floors 7, 8, and 9, the estimated loss is Rp90,900,000,000,” said the Head of the Data and Information Center of BPBD Jakarta, Muhammad Yohan, in a written statement, quoted on Monday (20/1/2025).
Nevertheless, Yohan stated that the suspected cause of the Glodok Plaza fire is still under investigation by the police.
As many as 14 people were reported missing in the fire that occurred on Wednesday night, January 15, 2025. This number was reported by combined officers from the families and friends of the victims who reported to the command post.
The 14 missing persons are Aulia Belinda (28), Deri Sauki (25), Osima Yukari (25), Aldrina S (29), Ade Aryti (29), Shinta Amelia (20), Indira Seviana Bela (25), Keren Shalom J (21), Intan Mutiara (26), Desti, Zukhi F Radja (42), Chika Adinda Yustin (26), Muljadi (56), and Dian Cahyadi (38).

“The number of bodies that have been evacuated is 8 body bags, currently undergoing identification at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.” For updates on the victims’ identities, further information will be provided after the data is released by the Kramat Jati Police Hospital,” said Yohan.
Meanwhile, the search for the victims is still ongoing, involving a joint team from the Jakarta BPBD, the Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), Basarnas, and the police.
