Jakarta The inactive Ngada Police Chief, AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja, is still being interrogated by the Police Propam Division after being arrested on suspicion of drug and immoral conduct cases.
Regarding this matter, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) faction, Selly Andriany Gantina, is furious with the inactive Ngada Police Chief, especially since it has been proven that he committed acts related to drug abuse and immoral behavior.
Therefore, if proven, he hopes that the Propam Polri will impose the maximum punishment on the inactive Ngada Police Chief.

“Must be punished to the fullest extent.” Especially since he is the Chief of Police, he should set an example,” said Selly in her statement, Tuesday (11/3/2025).
Although the individual has currently been deactivated and is undergoing a process within the police force, where it is suspected they will be dismissed. However, Selly emphasized that this does not provide satisfaction for the law in this country.
Referring to Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning TPKS and Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, the former Cirebon Regent urged that the maximum punishment must be imposed.
In detail, Selly explained that the entanglement of Article 13 of the TPSK Law could be imposed on the Police Chief with a sentence of 15 years and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.
However, because the perpetrator is a regional official and a family member, the sentence can be increased by one-third or an additional 5 years. And the recording that could lead to an additional 4 years of charges against him.
In addition to reflecting on the existing consumption of narcotics, he violated Article 127 paragraph 1 as stipulated in Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics.
“It means that if combined, at the very least he could be sentenced to 20 years.” “But because of the depravity, I think a life sentence or death penalty is more appropriate,” said Selly.
