KPK: Search of Ridwan Kamil’s House Related to Allegations of Corruption in Advertising Procurement

Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the house of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. According to information, the search of the former West Java Governor’s house is related to the alleged markup of Bank Jawa Barat (BJB) advertising funds.
“Regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of advertisements,” said KPK Deputy Chairman, Fitroh Rohcahyanto to the media, Tuesday (11/3/2025).

Fitroh admitted that the man affectionately called RK had not yet been summoned to provide testimony. When asked when that would be done, he fully left it to the investigator.
“Let’s just see the process, the investigator understands the technical aspects,” explained Fitroh.
Regarding the amount of state losses in this case, once again Fitroh has not provided a clear answer. However, he said the figure reached hundreds of billions.

“Hundreds of billions, I forgot the exact figure,” Fitroh concluded.
Ridwan Kamil admitted that his residence had been searched by the KPK.
“That it is true we were visited by the KPK team regarding the case at BJB,” said RK in a statement to reporters, Monday (10/3/2025).

According to him, KPK investigators came with an official search warrant for his house located in the Bandung area, West Java.
“The KPK team has shown the official assignment letter, and we as good citizens are very cooperative and fully support or assist the KPK team professionally,” he explained.

RK is reluctant to discuss further the handling of the BJB case currently ongoing at the KPK. Including the urgency of the search at his house.
“Other related matters, we cannot preempt the KPK team in providing statements, please ask the KPK team directly,” said Kang Emil.
