Jakarta West Jakarta Metro Police explained the arrest of artist Fachri Albar for alleged narcotics and psychotropic abuse on Thursday (24/4/2024). Led by West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, Fachri Albar wearing a green prisoner’s uniform was also present at the release event.
Twedi revealed that Fachri Albar’s arrest began with information obtained regarding narcotics and psychotropic abuse. Then the team visited the Lebak Bulus area, where Fachri Albar was secured.
“The team analyzed and investigated the information obtained previously. After confirming that someone was using narcotics and psychotropic drugs, the team then went to the crime scene to arrest FA,” explained Twedi.
“The time and place of the arrest on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at 21.00 WIB in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta,” Twedi added.
Evidence
Along with Fachri’s arrest, the police managed to secure a number of pieces of evidence. In this case, the son of senior musician Ahmad Albar used narcotics such as crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and psychotropic drugs.
“During the search, evidence was found in the form of 2 plastic clip packages containing crystal methamphetamine with a gross weight of 0.65 grams. One plastic clip package contained marijuana with a gross weight of 1.11 grams. Two rolled-up cigarettes contained marijuana with a gross weight of 0.94 grams,” explained Twedi.
“One glass bottle containing cocaine with a gross weight of 3.96 grams. 27 1 milligram alprazolam pills. 4 used glass pipes, 2 pieces of plastic, one plastic bong with a modified bottle cap, 1 small iron spoon, 4 modified lighters, 1 blue bag, 1 black cellphone,” he continued.
