Jakarta – Golkar Faction House Member Dave Laksono agrees with President Prabowo Subianto’s stance to push for the Asset Confiscation Bill. The Golkar Faction is ready to support the bill in the DPR.
“Yes, if we are in the DPR, we are definitely ready to accept it, it is a very good concept and is indeed needed, so we will definitely be ready to discuss it,” said Dave at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (5/5).
“Once we are ready, we will discuss it immediately,” he continued.
Dave said that Golkar is one of the main pillars of President Prabowo-Gibran’s government. Therefore, Golkar is ready to support a policy to become a regulation or law.
“So that the government can carry out its functions well and optimally until completion,” he concluded.
Prabowo’s Support
Reportedly, President Prabowo Subianto stated his commitment to immediately ratify this long-awaited bill as part of efforts to eradicate corruption and return state assets.
Prabowo firmly voiced his support for the Asset Confiscation Bill.
“I support the Asset Confiscation Law. It’s easy, already corrupt and doesn’t want to return assets,” Prabowo said on May Day, Thursday (1/5).
