On Wednesday (27/11/2024), the odd-even policy in Jakarta is suspend. This decision by the government to provide leniency to car drivers, whether due to special events, celebrations, or other conditions that require wider road access.

However, it is important to still understand the areas and hours this policy applies on regular days, and to make wise use of this moment.
Why is it not applicable today? As we know, President Prabowo Subianto has signed Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 33 of 2024. The decree pertains to the designation of the simultaneous regional election voting day on November 27, 2024, as a national holiday and was signed by Prabowo on November 21, 2024, in Jakarta.

The first session starts at 06:00 WIB until 10:00 WIB, while the second session is from 16:00 WIB until 21:00 WIB.
For your information, the expansion of the odd-even zones in Jakarta is regulated by the DKI Jakarta Governor’s Regulation Number 88 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Regulation Number 155 of 2018 on Traffic Restrictions with the odd-even system.

This step is also in line with the instructions from the relevant authorities, namely the Minister of Home Affairs Instruction Number 26 of 2022, the Minister of Transportation Circular (SE) Number 46 of 2022, and the Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 88 of 2019.
