Former Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo provided several notes after exercising his voting rights in the 2024 Central Java Regional Head Election or Pilkada.
The chairman of the DPP PDIP said he was impressed by the competition among the gubernatorial candidates in the 2024 Central Java Regional Election, as they were all given strong support by the people of Central Java.
As is known, specifically for the gubernatorial election competition in Central Java, it is followed by the gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidates Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi and Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen. (Gus Yasin).
“If I look at the latest position, it is actually very balanced, this is interesting for Central Java,” said Ganjar after being at the polling station near his residence, Ngemplak, Sleman, DIY, Wednesday (27/11/2024) as reported by CNN Indonesia.
However, he made a special comment on the actions of President Prabowo Subianto and the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo or Jokowi, who have stepped down to endorse certain candidates in the 2024 regional elections, as reported by detikcom.

Ganjar actually doesn’t have an issue with Jokowi’s involvement at this time because Jokowi has completed his term as President. However, Ganjar questions the appropriateness of both in endorsing certain candidates. This is also what he believes is a question for the people of Central Java.
“Those who are affected are definitely there, but there are also those who note that Javanese people are either appropriate or not (appropriate or not), and there are also those who evaluate it that way.” “But in the context of the political stage, for me, it’s just normal,” said Ganjar.
Nevertheless, Ganjar believes that the gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial candidate pair Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi will still win the regional election, even though their opponents are directly endorsed by Jokowi.
“God willing, God willing (Andika-Hendi will win), right? The (electability survey) results were very far apart before.” In a short period of time, being able to catch up, in my opinion, is good. Although they haven’t taken a significant lead yet, I saw some good things in several districts/cities yesterday,” said the campaign spokesperson for Andika-Hendi.
