The Andra Soni-Dimyati Natakusumah team has completed the manual recapitulation based on C1 copies from 17,231 polling stations in Banten. They claimed victory based on the real count that had been conducted. “The Andra Soni-Dimyati pair won with 3,097,589 votes or 55.91 percent. Meanwhile, Airin-Ade received 2,442,586 votes or 44.09 percent. The total number of votes was obtained from data that reached 100 percent from a total of 17,231 polling stations across Banten,” said Yudi Wibowo, Chairman of the Winning Team for Banten Gubernatorial Candidate number 02, when confirmed on Thursday (29/11/2024).
Based on the records of the Deputy Chairman of the Banten Regional People’s Representative Council, in the 2024 Banten Gubernatorial Election, there were 5,540,175 valid votes and 359,278 invalid votes. Even so, they are grateful that Andra Soni-Dimyati won after garnering 55.91 percent of the votes. On the other hand, Andra Soni lost to Airin Rachmi Diany in the cities of Cilegon and South Tangerang. “Based on the internal recapitulation results, out of 17,231 polling stations, the advantage of Andra Soni-Dimyati reached 655,003 votes or 11.82 percent,” he explained.
