Making their way to the 2024 West Bandung Pilkada, the candidate pair Jeje Govinda and Asep Ismail, supported by the National Mandate Party along with Gerindra, claimed victory with more than 30 percent of the votes.
Through his verified Instagram account, on Thursday (28/11/2024), Jeje Govinda uploaded data that he claimed was derived from C1 forms based on internal tabulation results. He defeated Hengki Kurniawan, who ran alongside Asep Ismail.
Another famous celebrity reportedly defeated by Jeje Govinda is Gilang Dirga. As is known, Gilang Dirga ran for Deputy Regent of West Bandung alongside Didik Agus Triwiyono.
“Alhamdulillah, we express our deepest gratitude to all the people of West Bandung Regency and all parties who have given their support and trust to us,” tweeted Jeje Govinda.
