Jakarta- The South Jakarta Metro Police revealed the condition of MAS (14), the teenager who brutally killed his father and grandmother in Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Currently, MAS’s condition has started to stabilize. This is evidenced by the perpetrator being able to converse with the investigators.
“She is stable, cheerful. Gradually, she has started to accept what we ask and responds fluently,” said the Head of Public Relations of South Jakarta Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, at the South Jakarta Police, Tuesday (3/12/2024).
The teenager also asked about the condition of his mother, who had been the target of a murder attempt. Fortunately, the mother survived the ordeal despite having sustained knife stab wounds. Currently, the perpetrator’s mother is still undergoing intensive care at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.
“So the child who is in conflict with the law also asked about the condition of his mother, father, and grandmother.” The investigator has conveyed it slowly. The child in conflict with the law has also accepted it,” Nurma revealed.
“Then he also prayed that he could meet his mother and that she would recover soon. That is what he prayed for. Then he asked to convey his apology to his mother,” Nurma added.
When asked whether the police would reunite the teenager with his mother, Nurma stated that it was the investigator’s authority. However, the police would later visit the perpetrator’s mother and convey the message from the perpetrator.
“Clearly, we will visit the mother of the child who is in conflict with the law. Then we will convey the apology from this child who is in conflict with the law,” said Nurma.
