Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is providing an incentive in the form of the elimination of administrative sanctions, both interest and fines, for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and the first transfer of Motor Vehicle Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB).
This policy will be effective starting December 2, 2024. The penalty waiver policy is intended for taxpayers who complete their payments by December 31, 2024.
According to the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of DKI Jakarta, Lusiana Herawati, this policy aims to lighten the burden on the community while also encouraging tax administration compliance.
“With this, the public can more easily settle their vehicle tax arrears,” said Lusi in a written statement, quoted on Wednesday (4/11/2024).
Lusi mentioned that the process of waiving fines is carried out automatically through the regional tax management information system. Therefore, taxpayers do not need to submit applications manually.
“This is expected to improve efficiency and ease in vehicle tax payments,” she said.
Lusi conveyed that regional taxes, including PKB and BBNKB, are significant sources of revenue to support various development programs.
Therefore, the Jakarta Provincial Government invites residents to take advantage of these incentives as a form of support for sustainable development.
Chase the Regional Tax Revenue Target

He hopes that the target for regional tax revenue can be achieved with more taxpayers fulfilling their obligations.
“Community participation is very important for the success of this policy.” Through tax compliance, we are together contributing to building a better city of Jakarta,” he said.
