Jakarta – Every married couple certainly does not want their togetherness to end in divorce. Likewise, Asri Welas and Galiech Rhardja, who have been building their household for 17 years and have children.
In fact, they cannot deny that divorce must be a part of the journey of life that must be traversed. Asri Welas also did not deny that many questioned her decision to divorce Galiech Rahardja.
Therefore, Asri Welas apologized to all her friends and fans who were disappointed by her divorce from Galiech Rahardja. He hopes that the public can take lessons from his life story and not follow the path he has chosen.
“No one wants divorce to happen, no one.” I apologize for disappointing my fans, my friends, there are so many DMs asking, ‘Ms. Asri, why couldn’t you hold on?’ Why did the divorce happen? “There is nothing good about divorce, don’t follow our example, but we had to take this step,” said Asri Welas at the Depok Religious Court, West Java, Tuesday (3/12/2024).
Principles that Cannot Walk in Harmony
Asri mentioned that the principle of not being able to walk side by side necessitated this decision. He also does not want to bear a greater risk for the family due to that condition.
“We have already taken risks for the family for 4 to 5 years.” So there are principles from Mas Galiech and from Asri that cannot be united,” he admitted.
