Baim Wong Submits Additional Evidence in Divorce Hearing with Paula Verhoeven

Jakarta – The divorce trial of Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (4/12/2024). This continuation of the trial scheduled the presentation of evidence from Baim Wong as the petitioner.

Baim Wong’s attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, stated that in this subsequent hearing, they submitted additional evidence in the form of video recordings. Furthermore, Baim’s side has also prepared three expert witnesses who will be presented in the next hearing.

“Yes, there are additional pieces of evidence, and the majority of them are in the form of videos, and in the next hearing, there will be evidence and witnesses,” said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

“I will also present 3 experts. This is serious to provide opinions related to the current issues,” Fahmi Bachmid added.

Absent

Baim himself is reluctant to comment on Paula’s absence from this follow-up hearing. However, he admits that he always wants to be present at every stage of the divorce proceedings.

“I already told Bang Fahmi, I want to attend every court session. So that we are the ones who know the story,” said Baim Wong.

Soon to be completed

On the same occasion, Baim Wong hopes his divorce process will be completed soon. He wants the separation from Paula to be done amicably.

“Of course (it will be resolved soon) and we want it to end amicably.” From the beginning, we wanted to settle things amicably. Remember, all of this has already been settled amicably and agreed upon by Paula’s side, so when we talk, there has already been (talk of divorce) but the material (divorce) has not been agreed upon,” said Baim Wong.
