Jakarta – Chairperson of the DPP PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Puan Maharani is optimistic that the candidate pair number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, will win in one round in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.
“God willing (one round),” said Puan at the Senayan parliamentary complex, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
According to Puan, the counting results will remain until the official announcement by the KPU. She also mentioned that PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri is grateful that the people of Jakarta have chosen the candidate pair number 3.
“Alhamdulillah, the people of Jakarta have chosen their leader for Jakarta. Yes, God willing, the votes will remain as the winner in Jakarta,” said Puan.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, stated that if many irregularities are proven in the Jakarta gubernatorial election, particularly in East Jakarta, a Re-vote should be held. (PSU).
“Yes, if it meets the requirements, then there should be a Re-vote, there should be a Re-vote,” said Habiburokhman at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Habiburokhman also admitted that his side is still optimistic that the Jakarta gubernatorial election will go to two rounds. “Two rounds, for sure,” he said.
