Jakarta, -The recap of the General Election Commission (KPU) declared the victory of the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno pair in the Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) 2024. A total of 2,183,239 votes were collected, or 50.07%. This result was positively received by various parties. One of them is Ganjar Pranowo, who openly congratulated the couple supported by the PDI Perjuangan.
“Congratulations on serving the people, Mas Pram & Bang Doel,” said Ganjar through his Instagram account, quoted on Monday (12/9/2024).
Congratulations were also conveyed by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok.
“We are grateful that finally Mas Pram and Bang Rano won one round as hoped,” said Ahok as quoted by detikcom.
Ahok admitted that he had communicated with Pramono-Rano after the Jakarta KPU’s announcement. “I communicated via mobile phone,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan, through spokesperson Sahrin Hamid, said that Anies and Pramono continued to communicate intensively during the plenary meeting conducted by the KPU.
“Mas Anies and Mas Pramono are in intensive communication so that every development is certainly updated well. Both directly and indirectly,” said Sahrin.
When asked whether Anies had congratulated Pramono regarding the KPU’s recapitulation results, Sahrin only said that Anies had given his congratulations from the beginning.
Pramono himself welcomed the results, which were not much different from the quick count after the election some time ago. He is now preparing to implement the programs promised to the people of Jakarta.
“This is not the end of the struggle, this is actually the beginning for Jakarta to shine,” Pramono wrote on his X account.
