Jakarta – The legal team of Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor candidates Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) consulted regarding the lawsuit on the results of the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election to the Constitutional Court. (MK).
The consultation was conducted under the direction of the Chairman of the RIDO Winning Team, Ahmad Riza Patria. (Ariza).
According to a representative from the RIDO Legal Team, Faizal Hafid, they consulted with the Constitutional Court regarding the deadline for filing the lawsuit and the necessary evidence.
“So, the final deadline for us to submit the application is on Wednesday at 23:59 WIB. Additionally, we are also consulting regarding the evidence. Photo evidence, video evidence, and other evidence that we can prepare,” said Faizal to reporters at Building I of the Constitutional Court, Central Jakarta, Monday (9/12/2024).
Currently, he said, the entire RIDO legal team is preparing the documents for the electoral dispute application and will finalize them soon. However, Faizal did not specify the exact schedule for when the report would be submitted to the Constitutional Court.
“The preparations are 97 percent complete. So, we just need to wait for instructions from the Head of the Success Team on when we will submit this application,” he said.
Faizal stated that so far, the legal team has gathered evidence of violations in the Jakarta 2024 Pilkada. Not only that, witnesses and related experts are also ready to be presented.
“So, later we will present extraordinary witnesses, amazing data, which you may not yet know, the data from the DKI Jakarta Pilkada will be presented at the right time.” So, we ask you to wait while we prepare it as best as possible,” he said.
