Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto held a coordination meeting with ministers under the coordination of the Ministry of Coordinating for Infrastructure and Regional Development at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Tuesday (10/12/2024). This meeting discussed infrastructure projects, including the Nusantara Capital City. (IKN).
The meeting was attended by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), the Minister of Housing and Settlements Maruarar Sirait, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, the Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, the Minister of Transmigration Iftitah Sulaiman, and the Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi.
“So today is actually the first meeting that specifically brings together all the ranks under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development,” said AHY to reporters at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, Tuesday (10/12/2024).
Before meeting Prabowo, AHY first gathered the ranks of ministers under his coordination. AHY will report on flagship infrastructure programs and quick win or Fast Track Best Results Programs (PHTC) to Prabowo.
“So I want to report specifically to the President, including the flagship programs and quick wins that are currently being implemented, and even in December and January 2025, some of them will be inaugurated and immediately used,” he explained.
“Of course, we are waiting for directions and also instructions, including decisions from the President,” AHY added.
Discuss the Progress of IKN Development
AHY mentioned that the meeting will also discuss the progress of the IKN development. When asked about Prabowo’s plan to work and visit IKN, AHY was reluctant to comment.
“Yes, various matters will definitely be discussed later,” said AHY.
