Starting to Show! Here’s the Progress of Foreign Investment in the IKN Project

Jakarta,- Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani assured that the development of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) continues. Promotion to investors continues to encourage them to invest.
“This is ongoing, and we continue to meet potential investors to convey the potential for investing in IKN, whether in terms of clean industry, infrastructure, or supporting tools,” said Rosan at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/12/2024).

So far, Rosan continued, investments from domestic companies have already been underway. Among others, for hotels, malls, and restaurants.

“There are also investments in the form of solar panels as part of the green industry that have come in from Singapore, including education from Australia which has already reached the groundbreaking stage, and health plans that are already completed, all from within the country,” he explained.

Rosan believes that investor interest is quite high. It is hoped that with several policies and incentives, investment in IKN can be further encouraged.

“So the interest remains and is growing, especially since we believe that with some fiscal incentive policies, it will encourage investment in IKN,” Rosan emphasized.
