Jakarta – The Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati) is currently investigating a case of alleged corruption involving fictitious Accountability Reports (LPJ) at the Jakarta Provincial Culture Office. The modus operandi was also revealed.
The Head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office, Syahron Hasibuan, explained that the Jakarta Cultural Office has budgeted various activities for the year 2023. He mentioned that the budget for activities over the year reached IDR 150 billion.
However, in its implementation, there are indications of deviations. For example, related to the dance studio activities. The Jakarta Cultural Office does not carry out the activity, but there is a report of accountability.
“Well, it is suspected that the activities are fictitious, so these dance stamps are suspected to be forged.” “That’s one of the modus operandi, right?” he said to reporters on Thursday (19/12/2024).
Syahron said that his team confiscated hundreds of stamps from MSME EO art studios that were allegedly forged. The Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office will detail the modus operandi of the fictitious LPJ corruption after someone is designated as a suspect.
“Later details will be provided after we establish the suspect.” This is just a general investigation, okay? Well, for the special investigation, we will examine the relevant parties later,” he said.
In this case, the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office has examined witnesses from the Jakarta Provincial Culture Office, the Events Organizer, and others. “I don’t know the details yet, I’ll update you later,” he said.
Office Raided, Hundreds of Fake Stamps Seized

Previously reported, the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office searched several locations related to the investigation of alleged corruption cases in the Jakarta Provincial Culture Office. Several pieces of evidence were seized, including hundreds of stamps.
Head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office, Syahron Hasibuan, explained that hundreds of stamps were allegedly forged for the disbursement of the department’s budget.
The evidence was found at the Jakarta Provincial Culture Office and the GR-Pro EO Office on Jalan Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.
“Yes, that’s correct, hundreds of stamps were forged and used for accountability in the implementation of activities,” said Syahron when contacted on Wednesday (12/18/2024).
Syahron detailed that the forged stamps included the art studio stamp and the MSME stamp. In this case, it was as if the activities had been carried out and proven with stamps to disburse the budget.
“The fact is, there is absolutely no activity,” said Syahron.
