Jakarta – Influencer Chandrika Chika has been reported to the police on charges of assault. The report against Chandrika Chika was filed by someone with the initials YB to the South Jakarta Metro Police on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
“So on December 14, 2024, a woman came to the South Jakarta Metro Police to report an incident that happened to her.” The reporter’s initials are YB,” said Acting Head of Public Relations of South Jakarta Metro Police AKP Nurma Dewi to reporters on Thursday (19/12/2024).
Nurma explained that the incident began when the victim was standing on one of the streets in the SCBD area of Jakarta. At the same time, there was also a woman waiting for a vehicle. It is suspected that a misunderstanding occurred between them, leading to the assault.
“Looking at each other and making eye contact, then after that the woman did not accept being stared at or looked at by the victim, and then the physical mistreatment occurred,” he said.
“He attacked the victim with bare hands.” That’s what the victim who reported said,” he said.
Victim Undergoes Medical Examination
Regarding this incident, Nurma said that her team is conducting an investigation. The victim has been directed to undergo a medical examination at the local hospital.
“We will investigate further later.” Yes, so the South Jakarta Metro Police have received the report, and we will definitely follow up on it. For the time being, it has already been autopsied. The autopsy report hasn’t been released yet,” he said.
