Kemnaker Invites the Public to Travel Safely and Comfortably During Nataru with Free Services at BBPVP Bandung

Bandung – The Bandung Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) is holding a free vehicle service program in anticipation of the Christmas 2024 and New Year (Nataru) 2025 holiday season. This program is aimed at helping the community maintain their vehicle conditions in anticipation of the surge in travel activities.

The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, during his visit to BBPVP Bandung, appreciated this initiative. According to him, this program is not only beneficial for the community but also serves as a real practice opportunity for the vocational training participants at BBPVP Bandung.

“This is one of the forms of service provided by the government as an effort to ensure the success of the Christmas and New Year holidays, where we offer free service for cars and motorcycles,” said Yassierli in Bandung, Wednesday (25/12/2024).

Yassierli said that this free vehicle service includes light services such as engine checks, brakes, tires, and electrical systems. This free service will be conducted from December 25 to December 31, 2024. As of today, the number of registrants for the free service has reached 333 motorcycles and 30 cars.

“Activities like this prove that vocational training not only produces skilled workers but can also directly impact the community.” In addition, we hope that the community can feel safer and more comfortable while driving during the holidays,” said Yassierli.

Yassierli added that his team is also opening opportunities for the public who want to learn or enhance their understanding of car and motorcycle servicing by participating in the free car and motorcycle servicing.

“With this service, we also take the opportunity to offer internships for the community who want to learn how to service cars and motorcycles,” he said.

The Secretary of the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Memey Meirita Handayani, added that this initiative of free car and motorcycle servicing is an effort to ensure the success of the Christmas and New Year holidays, particularly to ensure that the vehicles used by the public are in prime condition during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“We want to ensure that the public’s vehicles are in prime condition, especially during holiday periods like this.” This is also a tangible contribution from BBPVP Bandung to the community,” he said.

This activity was enthusiastically welcomed by the people of Bandung and its surroundings. One of the residents, Arbi Habibi Hamzah, expressed his gratitude for the implementation of this free service activity.

“I saw a post on BLK (BBPVP) Bandung about free service, and I was interested in visiting. Alhamdulillah, this activity is very helpful for me because I will soon be going back to Cianjur, so it will help maintain my car to be safer,” he said.
