JakartaSad news comes from Baim Wong’s family. Baim’s father, Johnny Wong, also known as Johnny Djaelani, passed away today, Tuesday (1/7/2025). The information was conveyed directly by Baim Wong through a post on his personal Instagram account.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun.” “Has passed away to the mercy of Allah, our beloved Papa, Johnny Djaelani bin Ahmad Djaelani,” he wrote on Tuesday morning.
In the statement, Baim also shared details about his father’s birth and death. Johnny Jaelani was born in Jakarta on June 5, 1946, and passed away at RS Abdi Waluyo, Jakarta, on January 7, 2025, at 04:27 WIB.
According to the plan conveyed by Baim, his father’s body will first be laid to rest at the funeral home in Gondangdia, Central Jakarta. After that, the body will be taken to Purwakarta for burial after the Zuhr prayer.
“May Allah SWT forgive all his sins and grant him the best place by His side,” Baim concluded.
Paula’s Expression of Condolence
Expressions of sorrow were also conveyed by Baim Wong’s wife, Paula Verhoeven, through her Instagram Story. Along with the caption, Paula uploaded a photo of Johnny Wong with his two grandchildren, Kiano and Kenzo, playing together. At that time, Johnny still looked healthy.
