Jakarta The continuation of the divorce case between Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (19/2/2025). On that occasion, Paula, accompanied by her legal counsel, brought an expert witness.
Although she was not very talkative, Paula Verhoeven assured that she was in good condition and present at the trial.
Meanwhile, Baim Wong as the applicant was absent and only represented by his legal counsel.
“My news is good,” said Paula Verhoeven briefly as she continued walking into the courtroom.
After undergoing a divorce hearing, Paula still maintained her reserved demeanor. When asked about her preparations for entering the month of Ramadan, Paula admitted that there were no special preparations.
“Alhamdulillah, there are no preparations (for Ramadan),” said Paula Verhouven.
Paula also admitted that she has started teaching her children to observe fasting. “God willing,” Paula replied as she walked away.
Comparative Evidence
Meanwhile, Paula’s attorney, Alvon Kurnia Palma, explained the agenda of the divorce hearing this time. On that occasion, his side presented the comparative evidence requested by the judges regarding the electronic evidence that had been submitted.
“Well, the evidence we presented indeed has several clusters related to children, related to the allegations they previously suspected,” he explained.
Present 2 Expert Witnesses
In addition, Paula also presented two witnesses to refute the claim that the children are experiencing trauma.
“Those two witnesses are the ones who most fundamentally deny that the child is traumatized.” Whether the trauma is true or not, let the person tell it themselves,” said Alvon.
