Jakarta Comedian Nunung spoke out about the news that she was selling her house assets to survive. Even reportedly, Nunung no longer has a residence in Jakarta.
Nunung does not deny the news that she has sold her house in Jakarta. He admitted to selling his residence in 2019 when he got involved in a drug case.
“That was a long time ago, a few years back.” I sold that asset, actually back in 2019 when I got into trouble, I was in rehab for 9 months, there was no income and life goes on,” said Nunung in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (26/2/2025).
“I live not just with my husband and child, there are many I have to support because I am the breadwinner,” Nunung continued.
Grateful to Still Have Assets
After undergoing rehabilitation, Nunung continued, her economic condition is still unstable due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. At least, she is grateful to still have assets to sell to make ends meet.
“Well, after finishing rehab, I got Covid, and there were no more jobs.” It’s not wrong if I sell the assets I have. Fortunately, I have assets that I can sell to make a living,” he said.
It’s Been a Long Time
Nunung admitted, that incident happened a long time ago. However, she only revealed it now, making it a hot topic in public.
“That actually happened five years ago, but since I was asked about it recently, it became a hot topic,” he added.
Choosing a Boarding House
When she received a job offer in Jakarta, Nunung chose a boarding house. After finishing her work, she immediately went back to Solo.
“If in Jakarta, only if there are guest stars, well instead of renting, it’s troublesome, later buying this and that, it’s better for us to rent a nice place, not every day, maybe just today, then go home,” said Nunung.
