Jakarta – Finance Minister Sri Mulyani is rumored to be resigning from her position. This news has spread widely on social media, but until now there has been no official confirmation from Sri Mulyani herself or from the Presidential Palace. A big question arises: what is actually happening?
The news of this resignation first appeared on social media, then spread quickly. However, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) has stated that some of the circulating information is a hoax.
Sri Mulyani herself, when directly asked by journalists about the issue, only responded with a mysterious smile and a brief statement that neither confirmed nor denied the news.
Interestingly, amidst the rumors of her resignation, Sri Mulyani still appears to be actively carrying out her duties as Minister of Finance. In fact, it is reported that she has just met with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace to report on the developments of the State Budget (APBN). The meeting, which lasted for approximately two hours, was interspersed with a joint iftar event.
The Mystery of Sri Mulyani’s Smile Sri Mulyani

After the meeting with President Prabowo Subianto, Sri Mulyani was bombarded with questions from the media regarding her resignation issue. However, as before, she just smiled faintly and was reluctant to provide further explanation.
“Just report on the state budget and other matters,” said Sri Mulyani briefly, before hurrying to her vehicle without answering any other questions. This mysterious attitude further strengthens the speculation circulating in the community.
Sri Mulyani’s reluctance to provide a direct clarification has left the public even more puzzled.
