Jakarta The South Jakarta Religious Court officially decided on the divorce of Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. This decision ended their marriage which had been going on since 2018 after Baim Wong filed for divorce on October 7, 2024.
After her marriage fell apart, Paula Verhoeven appeared on Denny Sumargo’s podcast which aired recently. This was done to emphasize to the public, to convince them that there was no affair in her marriage.
“I stand for my children that there was no affair,” Paula said in the podcast. She added, “I can testify and be responsible for this in the afterlife, what I said and did..”
Denny asked many questions on this occasion. One of them was whether Paula was happy in her marriage.
“Happy is relative. There must be happiness. If not, it would be impossible to have two children,” said Paula. However, Paula’s answer was rebuffed by Denny. “There are those who are not happy but still have children,” said the man who is familiarly called Densu, greeted by Paula’s small laugh.
Reaching 50 Percent?
Densu even pursued Paula’s answer with another question. Namely whether her happiness level reached 50 percent. “Well that’s… confusing,” answered Paula Verhoeven.
“Because when I feel I’m not happy with my life – there must be ups and downs – that’s when I (feel) I should be grateful. Not everyone has a perfect life,” said Paula Verhoeven.
