Jakarta gubernatorial candidate number 3, Pramono Anung, admitted to receiving support from several figures in the Jakarta 2024 gubernatorial election. The support was given through phone calls ahead of the voting.
Pramono revealed that he continues to maintain communication with various figures ahead of the voting on November 27, 2024. Some of these figures include the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok, and Anies Baswedan.
Pramono said that Megawati Soekarnoputri also had a chance to convey a message. What is it?
“The message was ‘bismillahirrahmanirrahim,'” said Pramono.
Furthermore, Pramono also admitted to being surprised because many figures have given support to the Pramono-Rano pair, both openly and privately. However, Pramono was reluctant to disclose the identities of these figures in detail.
“Yes, there are definitely some. And for me, it’s a new energy,” he said.
Pramono Anung, along with his wife Endang Nugrahani and their child, Hanifa Fadhila, exercised their voting rights at Polling Station (TPS) 046, Cipete Selatan on Wednesday (27/11/2024).
Voting with Family
Field observations showed that Pramono, along with his wife and child, walked from their private residence on Jalan Haji Ambas, Cipete, South Jakarta.
He departed at 07:30 WIB. Pramono Anung was seen wearing a sturdy white shirt paired with black trousers. He also wore a necklace with an ondel-ondel motif.
Pramono greeted and shook hands with each resident he met along the road, and some residents also offered prayers for Pramono to win in one round in the Jakarta 2024 gubernatorial election.
“I pray for Mas Pram to win,” said one of the residents.
Hearing that, Pramono replied, “Ameen, please pray for me, sir.”
Meanwhile, Pramono and his family were immediately welcomed by the residents. Pramono and his family then sat in the waiting chairs, waiting for their turn to be called.
