Vice President Gibran Casts His Vote in the Manahan Solo TPS 18 Pilkada, No Special Treatment

The Vice President of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, exercised his voting rights at polling station 18 in Manahan Village, Banjarsari District, Solo on Wednesday (27/11/2024). There was no special treatment for the former Mayor of Solo who cast his vote at that polling station.

According to Liputan6.com, several residents began arriving at polling station 18 Manahan, located on the side of Jalan Ahmad Yani, Tirtoyoso, Manahan, Solo. They arrived at the polling station starting at 07:00 WIB, while the voting commenced around 07:30 WIB.

Based on the permanent voter list (DPT) data for TPS 18 Manahan, Gibran’s name is in the 159th position. Meanwhile, his wife, Selvi Ananda, is in the 412th position on the DPT. The total number of voters in that TPS is 558.

The head of the TPS 18 Manahan KPPS, Heru Mawanto, said that Gibran and Selvi’s names are still recorded in the TPS’s voter list. From the Jokowi family, currently only Gibran and his wife are on the voter list at TPS 18 Manahan.

“If we look at the Jokowi family, the ones still registered in the family card here are Mas Gibran, so Mas Gibran, his wife, and their child are still listed in the Tirtoyoso family card,” he said.

Although the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia will exercise his voting rights at that polling station, Heru stated that the KPPS will not give special treatment to Gibran and his wife Selvi Ananda. “As for treatment, there is nothing special, we will treat them just like everyone else as before,” he said.
