Jakarta – The quick count results from several survey institutions for the Jakarta gubernatorial election 2024 indicate that the independent pair Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana must be satisfied with third place.
On average, the survey institutions that released the quick count results stated that Dharma-Kun received 10 percent of the votes in the Jakarta 2024 gubernatorial election.
In response to that, Dharma expressed gratitude. However, he refuses to be called a loser. On the contrary, it is considered a victory for the people of Jakarta who want a sense of security for their families.
“Thank you to the 10%+ of Jakarta residents who have chosen me and Kun Wardana as the 02 gubernatorial candidate pair.” “For us, this is not a defeat but a victory for the people of Jakarta who want to protect and provide a sense of security for their families,” said Dharma through his personal X account @pongrekundharma as quoted on Thursday (28/11/2024).
He also invited all parties to oversee the official results of the Jakarta gubernatorial election from the General Election Commission (KPU), which will be conducted in stages and announced in December 2024.
“Keep monitoring until the official real count results from the KPU are released,” he said.
Kun Proud
In line with that, his deputy, Kun Wardana, expressed pride in achieving 10 percent of the votes in the quick count version of the election results.
“Whatever the result of today’s local election, we are quite proud to have won at least 1 poll. Usually, the survey results are very grassroots,” Kun concluded.
As information, the quick count results in the Jakarta Pilkada placed the candidate pair number 3, Pramono-Rano, in first place with an electability of 50 percent.
Meanwhile, the pair in the first position, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), is in second place with a vote share of 30-40 percent according to the quick count results from several survey agencies.
